| Asia’s Leading Printing & Packaging Fair Opens Today |
Over 430 international exhibitors are offering a broad range of equipment, consumables and services at the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair 2016 which is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Limited. Big names among the international suppliers are joining the fair and the range of sourcing option is expanded by exhibitors representing Denmark, Indonesia and the United Kingdom for the first time.

- The Taiwan Printing & Machinery, Material Industry Association has organised a Taiwan Pavilion in the Printing Service Zone to showcase a variety of printing services.
- A central display features companies and products who have earned honours in the Hong Kong Print Awards, Hong Kong Digital Printing Award and China Print Awards.
- Reflecting the worldwide appetite for innovative applications of 3D printing, HKTDC has joined with Hong Kong 3D Printing Association (HK3DPA) to organise an impressive new 3D Printing Display and the 3D Printing Workshop on Day 3.

 The De Luxe Zone has expanded to over 50 exhibitors this year as demand for high-end printing and packaging continues to grow. Luxury goods such as jewellery, perfume, wine, gourmet food and exclusive beauty products require decent and stylish presentation, and De Luxe Zone exhibitors are experts in this field. Exhibits include Gift Boxes, Jewellery Boxes, Watch Cases and Premium Food Packaging. |

| Go ‘green’ |
 The highlighted Green Printing & Packaging Solutions zone has also expanded exhibits of biodegradable packaging products, eco-friendly packaging materials, green printing solutions and recycling systems. Among the major exhibitors are The Hong Kong Printers Association, Global Printing Machines from Taiwan and leading firms from other countries. Look in this zone for eco inks, recycled papers and other green products and systems, supplied by exhibitors which have the expert knowledge of the products and processes governed by international environmental protection regulations. These include products from sustainable resources, recycled and/or recyclable materials, and services which are non-polluting and energy efficient. There are other ‘green’ suppliers in the fairground, identifiable by the Green Leaf insignia on the booth fascia.
